Ants on a Log - Nut-free options
A great snack after school or part of a lunch. They can be made with or without nut butters - try hummus, cottage cheese or cream cheese.

INGREDIENTS
2 celery sticks
2 Tbsp sunflower or soy butter or cream cheese or read below for more ideas
20 raisins or peanuts or gf mini-marshmallows or animal crackers (places to look like they are walking on the log!)
Other Base and Topping Ideas:
Cream cheese with peas
Cinnamon cream cheese with raisins
Mashed avocado with corn
Hummus with olives or sliced pickles
Greek yogurt with blueberries
Tzatziki with cherry tomatoes and/or little cucumbers
Cottage cheese with blueberries or rasperries

STEPS
Cut each celery stick in half.
Add the sunflower or soy butter or other topping into each stick and spread.
Top with “ants” (raisins, peanuts, etc).
